Nació en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires en 1952. Estudió y se graduó de Arquitecta en la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires en 1979. En 1994 inició sus primeros pasos en la pintura acrílica y óleo de forma autodidacta. Incursionó en pátinas sobre bizcocho cerámico, pintura sobre tela, tinta, tinta y acuarelas, esculturas en latón. Realizó exposiciones de Dibujo y Pintura colectivas e individuales y cuadros sobre pedido. Diseñó la corona realizada en oro y plata para la imagen de la Virgen Stella Maris de la Catedral Castrense de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Colaboró en la organización de la Bienal de Arte del Colegio Cardenal Copello de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires . Diseñó y realizó para Lashadas la serie Duendes de la Viña y Hadas. Actualmente se dedica a la pintura (acuarelas y óleos). Paisajes y marinas son los temas más desarrollados en su pintura que es básicamente realista inspirada en lugares recorridos de América del Sur. En sus cuadros busca sobre todo captar la luz y los contrastes que ella produce. Born in Buenos Aires in 1952, Olga Bat studied at the University of Buenos Aires and obtained her degree in Architecture, Design and Urban Planning in 1979. A self-taught artist, Bat made her first works on acrylic and oil painting in 1994. Since then, she has also worked on water-color and ink painting, ink painting, and paintings on canvas, as well as patina on unglazed pottery and brass sculpture. Bat's artworks of painting and drawing have been displayed in both individual and group exhibitions, and she has also made works on request. Apart from this, she was involved in the organization of Art Biennial Exhibit at Cardenal Copello School in Buenos Aires. Bat designed the golden and silver made crown for the statue of the Virgin Stella Maris that is nowadays exhibited in the Military Cathedral of Buenos Aires, and she designed for Lashadas the series Duendes de la Viña y Hadas. Currently, Bat specializes in painting (oil and water-color painting), and landscapes and seascapes are special subjects of her works. These paintings, which are basically realistic and inspired by South American places she has visited, try to capture light and the contrasts it produces.
